Mums The Word is a costumed jam band from Philadelphia and South Jersey. Staying true to their eclectic nature, they play a mix of funk, rock 'n' roll, hip-hop, reggae, and draw inspiration from many genres.
Their three primary influences include: The Grateful Dead, Parliament Funkadelic, and Frank Zappa.

Synth Funk Band
From the heart of Philadelphia comes MINKA, a band defying easy categorization. Their sound, a vibrant fusion of funk, electronica, rock, dance, and jazz, is as eclectic as it is captivating. To get a taste, picture a musical experiment: Bowie's theatricality, Prince's sensuality, and the rhythmic drive of Talking Heads, all blended into something uniquely MINKA.
